Small tube cutting
For round, square and rectangular tube, plus special profiles — Ø8–350 mm, tubes up to 12.5 m long
Best-selling ACME machine for tube cutting
The chuck is fully enclosed, so slag and dust cannot reach the mechanism. Spatter is cleared from inside the tube during cutting. The control cabinet, laser source and machine body come assembled as one unit, with no air-conditioned room needed for the source.
Cuts round, square, rectangular or oval tube. On square and rectangular sections, the tube rotates at every cut, so the fast chuck shortens the cycle. The semi-automatic loader is optional and lets one person supervise multiple machines.
High-efficiency laser machine for tubes and profiles
With the full-stroke chuck, the jaws do not need changing between diameters. Thanks to its square bore, the chuck also holds square and rectangular sections and special profiles. During unloading, the servo support follows the part down so that its surface is not scratched.
The side-mounted bed, with its low centre of gravity, keeps every model in the range stable: tubes of Ø8–350 mm and up to 12.5 m, all with 45° bevel cutting. On the three larger models, the front chuck advances by up to 1,400 mm and keeps long parts from wobbling as they rotate.
For H- and I-beams, channels and tube — up to Ø840 mm and parts up to 3 t
Laser machine for heavy profiles and large-diameter tubes
I-beams, H-beams, channels and angles go in whole and come out with holes cut, bevelled and cut to length, with no trip to the saw or grinder. In static cutting only the head moves, so the heavy part stays still. With 3 chucks, the last part is cut too, with no remnant.
The middle one of the three movable chucks shifts to the right to release the last part cleanly from the tube. The standard laser head cuts ±45° bevels in V, Y, X or K. Servo motors drive positioning at up to 100 m/min and cut the idle time between parts.
Laser machine with 4 chucks for tubes and heavy profiles
The four chucks keep the part supported along its full length, so long profiles of up to 3 t do not sag during cutting. The standard bed is 12 m, with 9 or 15 m available to order. In static cutting only the head moves, which helps where holes are closely spaced.
For thin sheet and thick plate — cutting areas from 3×1.5 m to 24×3 m, thicknesses up to 100 mm
Economical laser sheet cutting machine
Designed for fabricators with small batches and varied work: the initial investment is low, as are maintenance and electricity costs. The same machine cuts light-gauge sheet and thick structural plate up to 100 mm, depending on material and laser source.
While one table is under the laser, parts are unloaded from the other and the next sheet is laid down, so there is no waiting for loading. Nine-stage piercing tackles thick plate without spatter or burrs at the start of the cut. Nozzles are changed automatically.
Takes the place of plasma and oxy-fuel cutting machines. The rail foundation is compatible with that of the oxy-fuel machine it replaces, so no new foundation is needed. It also cuts with compressed air instead of oxygen or nitrogen, for a lower cost per metre.
Sheet with tube, or sheet with heavy profiles, on one machine — saving space and budget for fabricators with a mixed workload
Compact 2-in-1 machine for sheet and tube
Being compact, it fits even into workshops where every square metre counts. Sheet and tube are handled from a single set of controls. The ACME chuck clamps with eight cylinders, with twice the force of a standard chuck, and has a square bore for tube and profiles.
The table changes over in 15 seconds: while the machine cuts on one table, parts are unloaded from the other, hence the efficiency gain of more than 30%. The machine automatically fits the right nozzle for the sheet. Air pressure is measured and corrected on the fly.
Integrated cutting of heavy profiles and plate on a gantry machine
It can be configured with 1, 2 or 3 stations: while one cuts an H, I, U or L profile, the next is loaded and unloaded. The plate station handles up to 12,000×3,000 mm. In a single pass, the profile gets its holes, markings and bevels and is cut to length.
Welding, cleaning, cutting and weld cleaning with one handheld unit — from 1,000 to 3,000 W
Four laser operations in a single handheld unit
It is wheeled to parts that cannot be dismantled, on the shop floor or on site. It welds 3–10 times faster than TIG. An operator with no welding experience can start work within a few hours. The head changes in about a minute, according to the manufacturer.
The parts that keep the machine in production — from nozzles and protective lenses to cutting heads and laser sources. Genuine parts, from our stock in Romania
Autofocus laser cutting head by BOCI
The sheet cutting head adjusts its focus automatically, detects piercing and repeats the pass if the material has not been pierced through. Before quoting, we confirm the fibre connector, the maximum power and the focal length that suits your sheet thicknesses.
Fibre laser sources for cutting and welding machines
The source generates the beam and connects to the cutting or welding head, or to a galvanometer scanner. It is replaced on failure or when you want more power. Before ordering, we check the fibre connector, the maximum power the head can handle and the cooling.
The protective lens is the first part in the path of spatter and takes the hit itself, so that the optics inside the head stay clean. It costs a few tens of euros, while the optics it protects cost thousands: putting off replacement shifts the risk to the expensive part.
Genuine nozzles: the part at the tip of the cutting head
The beam passes through the nozzle orifice, which concentrates the cutting gas onto the cut. The orifice must be centred exactly on the beam axis: an off-centre or worn nozzle spoils the symmetry of the gas jet and the edge quality. We keep it in stock as a consumable.
The nozzle screws into the ring, through which both the cutting gas and the signal from the sensor on the head pass. According to the manufacturer, the ring combines imported ceramic with a special alloy that has the same thermal expansion, so it does not crack when it heats up.
Role: Electrical insulator between nozzle and head body

FAQ
Answers to the questions we are asked most often
Who is ACME Laser Romania?
ACME Laser Romania is the authorised ACME dealer for Romania, based in Cluj-Napoca: we sell, install and service laser machines for cutting tube, profiles and sheet. Two of them, an LT-12055TKA and an LHM, work every day in our own production facility. Transport, customs clearance, insurance, acceptance inspection, installation and operator training are included, and the machines carry a 24-month warranty.
Which ACME machines do you offer in Romania?
The range for Romania has 6 segments: small tube cutting (D Series for tube, A Series, E Series, TF Series); large tube & profile cutting (T Series, G Series, TN Series); sheet cutting (S Series, D Series for sheet, LP Series); combined — sheet + tube/profiles (ST Series, DT Series, LHM Series); 4-in-1 laser welding (FLW-T Series); accessories (BOCI, laser sources, lenses, nozzles, ceramic rings). On the products page they are grouped in exactly the same way.
Can an ACME laser replace plasma on thick plate?
Yes. On thick plate, the LP Series takes the place of plasma and oxy-fuel cutting machines: it cuts up to 100 mm, with cutting areas from 12 m to 24 m long. The difference shows in the cut edge. After laser cutting, the part goes to the next operation straight off the machine; after plasma or oxy-fuel, it usually needs further processing.
How long does delivery of an ACME machine take?
The delivery time for an ACME machine depends on the model and configuration chosen, so we confirm it in the written quotation once we have discussed your application. You will receive our recommended configuration and the written quotation within 1–2 working days. Transport, customs clearance, insurance, acceptance inspection, installation and operator training are included, and the machine is handed over on your shop floor, ready to run.
What warranty do ACME machines come with?
ACME machines come with a 24-month manufacturer's warranty on all models. Consumables are not covered by the warranty, and the exact terms for the chosen model are set out in the written quotation. During and after the warranty period, service is provided by our local team, with common parts and consumables in stock and technical support in Romanian.
ACME Laser Romania is a new dealer. What experience do you have with ACME machines?
We are new as an ACME dealer, but not new to industry: we use 2 ACME machines in our own production facility in Cluj-Napoca, an LHM and an LT-12055TKA, and we know first-hand the whole life of a machine, from transport and installation to daily operation and maintenance. The manufacturer has more than 3,000 machines installed in more than 60 countries and regions. Both of our machines can be seen at work during a demo on a real machine in our own production facility.
