TN Series— 4-chuck laser tube cutting machine for heavy profiles
The TN Series is the 4-chuck laser machine for fabricators who cut heavy tubes and profiles: the part is supported along its full length and does not sag. Ø30–840 mm, lengths of 12–15 m, parts up to 3 t, zero remnant; 3 models, 6–30 kW.
Cuts round, square and rectangular tube, H-beams, channels and special profiles. Diameters of Ø30–840 mm, lengths of 12–15 m, parts up to 3 t.
02
The 4 chucks
They clamp the part at the same time and support it along its full length: they carry large loads and keep heavy, long profiles stable during cutting.
03
Zero remnant
The tube is cut right to the end, including the last part: the remnant is 0 mm, no material is scrapped and production costs go down.
04
Processing flexibility
Hole cutting, bevel cutting and cutting of bent tubes are done on the same machine, however complex the part. Laser power 6–30 kW.
05
ACME's own technology
Full-stroke chucks and static cutting increase cutting accuracy and productivity. The range has 3 models: 12055TNKA, 12065TNKA and 12085TNKA.
Key capabilities
The TN Series difference
4 chucks clamping simultaneously
The 4 chucks clamp the part simultaneously and support it along its full length, on long (12–15 m) and heavy (up to 3 t) profiles.
Full-stroke pneumatic chucks
They clamp firmly with no jaw change between diameters, and the clamping force is twice that of standard chucks.
Processing flexibility
The part is cut completely and stably, with zero remnant, special operations included. The material is used right to the end.
Technology
Inside the TN Series
01 / 03
Processing complex shapes
Hole cutting, bevel cutting and cutting of special profiles are done on a single machine. The production flow needs fewer operations and fewer machines.
02 / 03
Cutting rusty material
Mild steel is cut stably even when it is rusty or covered with a thick oxide layer, and cut quality stays consistent.
03 / 03
Static cutting
A short Y-axis with a 300 mm stroke moves only the head, while the tube stays put. The heavy part is held steady, and accuracy improves. This helps a great deal on parts with closely spaced holes; wear and energy consumption also go down.

Movable servo support that follows the tube
It works together with the 4 chucks during loading, cutting and unloading, so heavy parts are handled safely and stably.
Clamped only at the ends, a long beam sags under its own weight. The 4 chucks clamp it simultaneously and keep it supported along its full length, on parts of up to 3 tonnes. In static cutting the head moves, not the part, so holes come out to size even where they are closely spaced.
The T Series cuts the same diameters with 3 chucks, in lengths up to 12.5 m; the TN Series adds a fourth chuck and the optional 15 m bed.
The remnant stays at 0 mm: the material is used right down to the last part.
FAQ
Questions about the TN Series
What tube diameters does the TN Series cut?
The TN Series cuts tubes and profiles from Ø30 to Ø840 mm, across 3 models whose ranges partly overlap: the 12055TNKA works between Ø30 and Ø540 mm, the 12065TNKA between Ø120 and Ø640 mm, and the 12085TNKA between Ø200 and Ø840 mm. Parts below Ø120 mm go only on the 12055TNKA, and those above Ø640 mm only on the 12085TNKA. The right model is chosen according to the smallest and the largest diameter you work with.
What tube lengths does the TN Series process?
The TN Series takes tubes 12–15 m long: the standard bed is 12 m, with a maximum tube length of 12,500 mm, and for longer parts you can order the 15 m bed. A shorter 9 m bed is also available to order. Automatic unloading takes parts of up to 12,000 mm. The maximum tube and unloading lengths are the same on all 3 models.
How does the TN Series cut weld-prep bevels?
The TN Series cuts ±45° bevels at both ends of the tube, in the same pass as the cut. The head cuts the edge of the part at an angle, up to 45° in either direction, and the weld prep comes off the machine ready, with no separate operation. Bevel cutting is available on all 3 models and matters most on structural steelwork batches.
Why does the TN Series have 4 chucks?
With four chucks, the TN Series clamps a long beam at multiple points, not just at the ends, and its weight is spread along its full length. As a result, a long, heavy profile does not sag between clamping points, and accuracy is maintained from one end to the other. The neighbouring T Series cuts the same diameters with 3 chucks.
What does zero remnant mean on the TN Series?
Zero remnant means that on the TN Series no scrap end is left from the tube, not even after the last cut. The official table gives the same value, 0 mm, for all three models: 12055TNKA, 12065TNKA and 12085TNKA. The benefit grows with the batch size: on long runs of heavy profiles, the material saving adds up from one tube to the next.
What laser power and workpiece weight does the TN Series have?
All 3 TN Series models work with 6–30 kW of laser power, and the maximum workpiece weight increases with the model: 2,100 kg on the 12055TNKA, 2,500 kg on the 12065TNKA and 3,000 kg on the 12085TNKA. The exact power and the final configuration are set according to the material being cut, the wall thickness and your production volume.
Send us your requirements — profile types (round/square tube, H-beams, channels), diameters, material length, part weights and monthly volume — and we will reply with the right configuration: 12055TNKA, 12065TNKA or 12085TNKA.
