E Series— High-efficiency laser tube and profile cutting machine
The E Series is the laser machine for fabricators who want to cut round tube and profiles on one machine, with no need for a second one in the workshop. It comes in 4 models for Ø8–350 mm, tubes up to 12.3 m, 1–30 kW of laser power and tube weights up to 1.5 t.
Cuts tube and profiles in 6–12 m lengths, with diameters from Ø8 to Ø350 mm depending on the model, and weights of up to 1.5 t.
02
Square-bore chuck
The chuck has a square bore, so profiles pass through it as well as round tube. The chuck covers a wide range of sections, with no second machine needed in the workshop.
03
Fast chuck and high acceleration
On the model with the 120 mm chuck: 110 m/min travel, 200 rpm rotation and 1.5 G acceleration. Cycles are short, and more parts come off the machine every shift.
04
ACME's own technology
A laser-cut, mechanically assembled bed, segmented servo supports and an automatic unloading device, all designed by ACME to maintain cutting accuracy.
05
Free technical support
Free updates to the system and the nesting software, online technical guidance, help with drawing complex parts and video operating guides, provided by ACME on an ongoing basis. The machine has fewer hours of downtime.
Key capabilities
The E Series difference
Full-stroke chuck
The jaws travel the full stroke, so they do not need changing between diameters: you move from one size to the next without stopping, and the clamping force is twice that of a standard chuck.
Lightweight servo-driven chuck
The chuck is light and fast, with precision servo motors. Its rotational inertia is low, so it turns faster and the cut is more accurate.
Square bore for profiles
With a square bore, the chuck is no longer limited to round tube: it also holds square or rectangular tube and special profiles, including large sections, on the same machine.

Technology
Inside the E Series
01 / 03
Automatic unloading
The servo support follows the part down and adjusts its height in real time as the tube rotates: unloading is smooth and even, and the surface of the part is not scratched.
02 / 03
Laser-cut, mechanically assembled bed
Every plate and every tube in the bed is laser cut, and the parts interlock during assembly rather than simply being welded. Positioning error stays below 0.5 mm, and the bed holds its geometry over time.
03 / 03
Segmented servo supports
The supports centre themselves on any tube section and, linked to the control system, adjust their height in real time: there are fewer adjustments between batches, and cutting accuracy stays consistent.

Optical safety sensor
While the chuck rotates at high speed, the sensor monitors the working area. If anyone enters, the machine raises the alarm immediately: collisions are avoided, and both the operator and the machine stay safe.
The machine locates the weld seam on the tube and takes it into account when planning the cutting path: the cut surface comes out clean, and scrap goes down.
The jaws no longer need changing between diameters, and the supports centre themselves on any section shape, so there is little to adjust between batches. With the square bore, the same chuck also holds square and rectangular sections and special profiles, so they are cut on the same machine as round tube — Ø8–350 mm, up to 1.5 t.
The D Series stops at Ø180 mm, 6 m and 300 kg; above that, the E Series takes over. If what matters to you is how much of the tube is left, the TF Series covers the same diameters and, on its smaller models, leaves a minimum remnant of 35 mm, compared with 65 mm here.
FAQ
Questions about the E Series
What tube diameters does the E Series cut?
The E Series cuts tube from Ø8 to Ø350 mm across 4 models: 6012E (Ø8–120 mm), 6026ES (Ø15–250 mm), 9028EA (Ø15–280 mm) and 12036EKA (Ø30–350 mm). Besides round sections, it processes square, rectangular and oval sections, angles, channels and special profiles. The 12036EKA also cuts bevels, as the letter K in its code indicates.
What tube lengths does the E Series cut, and what remnant is left?
The maximum tube length depends on the E Series model: 6,300 mm on the 6012E and 6026ES, 9,300 mm on the 9028EA and 12,300 mm on the 12036EKA. Tube in 6 m lengths can be processed on all four models, 9 m tube on the 9028EA and 12036EKA, and 12 m tube only on the 12036EKA. The minimum remnant is 65 mm, the same on all four models.
What chuck does the E Series have?
The E Series chuck is full-stroke and has a square bore. Thanks to the full stroke, the jaws stay the same when you move to another diameter, with no manual changeover. The clamping force is twice that of a standard chuck. Square, rectangular and special profiles also pass through its square bore.
How is the E Series machine bed built?
On the E Series, the bed is not simply a welded structure: its plates and tubes are laser cut and interlock during assembly. The result is a positioning error below 0.5 mm and a structure that keeps its geometry over the years. The bed is part of ACME's own technology for this series, together with the segmented servo supports and automatic unloading.
What tube weight can the E Series handle?
The E Series handles tubes up to 1.5 t. The manufacturer gives this value for the whole series, and the official table does not break it down by model. In the same segment, the D Series stops at 300 kg, Ø180 mm and 6 m, so for heavier, larger or longer tubes the E Series is the next step up.
What safety features does the E Series have?
To protect the operator, the E Series has an optical sensor that guards the working area while the chuck spins at high speed: anyone entering the area triggers the alarm. Extraction removes the fumes produced by cutting, so the operator works in clean air. Before cutting, the system also detects the weld seam on the tube and allows for it in the cutting path.
What warranty does the E Series come with?
The E Series comes with ACME's standard 2-year manufacturer's warranty. Consumables (nozzles, protective lenses, ceramic rings) are not covered by the warranty, but we keep nozzles, lenses and critical components in stock in Romania. Commissioning, maintenance and repairs are carried out by our own technicians.
