The TF Series is the 2-chuck laser machine for long tubes when the remnant must be kept to a minimum. Five models, Ø8–350 mm, 1–30 kW, 200 rpm chuck, acceleration up to 1.5 G, 45° bevel cutting.
The machine cuts round, square or rectangular tube, as well as special profiles.
02
Fast chuck
On all five models, the chuck rotates twice as fast as a standard chuck. On the three larger models (6026TFA, 9028TFA, 12036TFA), the front chuck advances by up to 1,400 mm: it keeps long parts from wobbling as they rotate and improves machining accuracy.
03
Efficient production
On all five models, tube is loaded semi-automatically. On the larger models, the side-mounted bed makes loading easier: a tube is loaded in 10 seconds, 30% faster than on standard machines.
04
High-speed cutting
Cutting runs without interruptions, and laser power ranges from 1 to 30 kW across the range, from the small models to the large ones.
Key capabilities
The TF Series difference
Advancing front chuck
The front chuck can move forward by up to 1,400 mm on the larger models (6026TFA, 9028TFA, 12036TFA). As a result, long parts no longer wobble as they rotate, and the cut is more accurate.
Side-mounted bed
On all five models, the bed is side-mounted with a low centre of gravity, so the machine runs stably and reliably. On the 6026TFA, 9028TFA and 12036TFA, the bed is also laser cut, for accurate cutting.
Technology
Inside the TF Series
01 / 03
Reduced remnant
On the three larger models (6026TFA, 9028TFA, 12036TFA), the chuck moves out of the cutting head's way; on the 6012TFKA and 6018TFKA, the chuck advances and cutting stops between the two chucks. Either way, only a short remnant is left of each tube, and less material is wasted.
02 / 03
200 rpm chuck, up to 1.5 G
The integrated construction keeps the machine stable at high chuck speeds and at accelerations of up to 1.5 G, so cutting stays fast and accurate. The chuck is twice as fast as a standard one, and the highest accelerations are on the 6012TFKA and 6018TFKA.
03 / 03
45° bevel cutting
On the 6026TFA, 9028TFA and 12036TFA, the bevel is cut directly on welded tube, with no second operation: production costs less, more of the tube is used and bevel cutting is more productive. On the 6012TFKA and 6018TFKA, with the K bevel head, the nozzle sits right at the centre of rotation, so the tube no longer has to be moved back and forth to produce the bevel and is not deformed by repeated clamping.

Semi-automatic loading
On the 6026TFA, 9028TFA and 12036TFA, a tube is loaded in 10 seconds: the work is safer for the operator and needs less labour. On the 6012TFKA and 6018TFKA, loading is also semi-automatic.
The support catches the tube, lifts it and unloads it, making processing more stable and safer. It is fixed to the bed, so it does not shift or sag over time.
On the 6026TFA, 9028TFA and 12036TFA, rear air-blow extraction is standard: it removes slag and dust from the cutting zone, stops them from building up and maintains cut quality.

Specifications are subject to change as the manufacturer develops its machines. We confirm the exact values for your configuration in your quotation.
The question that leads to the TF Series is how much of the tube is left after the last part. On the 6012TFKA and 6018TFKA, 35 mm is left, and in the best case the remnant can come down to zero; on the 6026TFA it is also 35, while on the 9028TFA and 12036TFA it rises to 65 — the same as on the E Series, which covers the same diameters. On large batches, the difference shows up in material use.
All five models cut 45° bevels, so the weld-prep bevel is cut together with the part. Above Ø350 mm, the range continues with the T and TN Series.
FAQ
Questions about the TF Series
How do the 6012TFKA and 6018TFKA differ from the other TF Series models?
The 6012TFKA and 6018TFKA are the former VFA models (VF Series), which the manufacturer renamed and moved into the TF Series; the letter K in the code indicates the bevel head. They have 2 chucks and cut 45° bevels with the nozzle at the centre of rotation. On the 6026TFA, 9028TFA and 12036TFA, the bevel is cut directly on welded tube. Diameter and power increase from the 6012TFKA (Ø8–120 mm, 1–6 kW) to the 12036TFA (Ø30–350 mm, 6–30 kW).
What tube diameters and lengths does the TF Series cut?
The TF Series cuts tube from Ø8 to Ø350 mm, depending on the model: Ø8–120 mm on the 6012TFKA, Ø10–180 mm on the 6018TFKA, Ø15–260 mm on the 6026TFA, Ø15–280 mm on the 9028TFA and Ø30–350 mm on the 12036TFA. The maximum tube length is 6,800 mm on the 6012TFKA and 6018TFKA, 7,000 mm on the 6026TFA, 9,000 mm on the 9028TFA and 12,500 mm on the 12036TFA. Above Ø350 mm, the range continues with the T and TN Series.
What remnant does the TF Series leave?
The minimum remnant on the TF Series is 35 mm on the 6012TFKA, 6018TFKA and 6026TFA, and 65 mm on the 9028TFA and 12036TFA. On the 6012TFKA and 6018TFKA there is also a second case: when cutting stops between the two chucks, the remnant can come down to zero.
How fast does the TF Series chuck rotate?
On the TF Series, the chuck rotates at 200 rpm on all five models, from the 6012TFKA to the 12036TFA. What differs between the models is the maximum acceleration: 1.5 G on the 6012TFKA and 6018TFKA, 1.2 G on the 6026TFA, 1.0 G on the 9028TFA and 0.7 G on the 12036TFA, the largest model in the range.
What laser power does the TF Series have?
TF Series laser sources range from 1 to 30 kW. The 6012TFKA and 6018TFKA, for tubes up to Ø120 and Ø180 mm respectively, have 1–6 kW. The 6026TFA, 9028TFA and 12036TFA, which reach Ø260, Ø280 and Ø350 mm, have 6–30 kW. The right power is chosen according to the material, the wall thickness and the production volume.
How long does it take to load a tube on the TF Series?
On the 6026TFA, 9028TFA and 12036TFA, loading a tube takes 10 seconds; for the 6012TFKA and 6018TFKA, the manufacturer does not publish a loading time. All five TF Series models have semi-automatic loading, and the letter A at the end of the code indicates the loader. On the larger models, the short loading time comes from the side-mounted bed.
How accurate is the TF Series machine bed?
The TF Series bed is laser cut on the 6026TFA, 9028TFA and 12036TFA, and the manufacturer states a deviation below 0.5 mm for it. For the 6012TFKA and 6018TFKA, no separate accuracy figure is published. On every model, the bed is side-mounted and keeps the machine stable in operation.
