ST Series— Compact 2-in-1 laser machine (sheet and tube)
The ST Series is a compact laser machine that cuts both sheet and tube, for fabricators with limited floor space. It comes in 3 models (3015ST12, 4020ST18, 6025ST26) and cuts sheet up to 6,000×2,500 mm and tube Ø8–250 mm, with 1–60 kW of power and a maximum acceleration of 1.5 G. Sheet and tube are handled from the same set of controls.
Designed for fabricators who process light, small-section tube: the machine is compact, simple to operate and inexpensive to maintain.
02
Space-saving
The design is compact, so the machine fits even into workshops or work areas where space is limited.
03
Easy operation
The functions are integrated and the controls are simple: the operator learns the machine easily and gets up to speed quickly.
04
Simple maintenance
Parts and construction are relatively simple: servicing is easy, costs less and means fewer hours of downtime.
05
2-year warranty
A 24-month manufacturer's warranty on the whole machine.
Key capabilities
The ST Series difference
One machine, two functions
Cuts metal sheet and tube on the same machine. Among combined sheet-and-tube machines, the ACME machine is the one that offers professional-grade tube cutting.
Components from established brands
HIWIN linear guides, a YYC rack-and-pinion drive and Schneider electrical components (France); the other accessories also come from established brands. The combination holds up over years of use.
Fieldbus control with nesting software
The control system software nests the parts on the sheet and offers other advanced functions as well.
Technology
Inside the ST Series
01 / 03
ACME chuck
Clamping with 8 cylinders: the clamping force is twice that of a standard chuck. The square bore lets the material pass through the chuck; the machine cuts metal tube with diameters between 8 and 250 mm.
02 / 03
Aerospace-grade aluminium crossbeams
Extruded aluminium does not deform, has good toughness, resists corrosion and is light. Hence the high processing speed.
03 / 03
Stable support
The support adjusts itself as the tube rotates: it stays close to the tube throughout the cut, protects it from knocks and stops it from falling.

Configurations on request
The machine comes in multiple configurations and is customised to your production requirements.
If your tube does not go beyond 6 metres and your sheet beyond 6,000×2,500 mm, you do not need two machines. The ST does both, from the same control desk, in a compact build that fits even into a cramped workshop.
The ACME chuck clamps with eight cylinders, has a square bore and holds tube between Ø8 and Ø250 mm. The manufacturer says that, among combined sheet-and-tube machines, its machine is the one that offers professional-grade tube cutting.
The DT Series goes up to 12,000×2,500 mm, Ø280 mm and 16 tonnes on the table, plus a table change in 15 seconds. If you cut heavy profiles rather than tube, the LHM Series sits in the same segment.
FAQ
Questions about the ST Series
What does “2-in-1” mean on the ST Series?
On the ST Series, “2-in-1” means a single machine cuts both sheet and tube. You no longer need two separate machines: you work from the same set of controls and need floor space for only one machine. Sheet formats go up to 6,000×2,500 mm, and tube diameters range from Ø8 to Ø250 mm, depending on the model.
What tube can the ST Series cut, and in what diameters?
The ST Series cuts round and square tube, plus profiles. The diameter depends on the model: Ø8–120 mm on the 3015ST12, Ø10–180 mm on the 4020ST18 and Ø15–250 mm on the 6025ST26. Tube length reaches 3,000 mm, 4,000 mm and 6,000 mm respectively. The square bore of the chuck lets the material pass through it.
What laser power does the ST Series have?
All three ST Series models (3015ST12, 4020ST18 and 6025ST26) work with a 1–60 kW laser source. The power range is the same across the line-up, as is the maximum acceleration of 1.5 G. The exact power is chosen according to the material cut, the thicknesses and your production volume.
What chuck does the ST Series use?
The ST Series uses the ACME chuck with 8 cylinders, which clamps with twice the force of a standard chuck. The square bore lets the material pass through the chuck, which holds tube between Ø8 and Ø250 mm, depending on the model. During cutting, a self-adjusting support follows the rotating tube, protects it from knocks and stops it from falling.
What footprint and table load does the ST Series have?
The ST Series footprint increases with the sheet format: the 3015ST12 measures 8,500×3,700×2,200 mm (length × width × height), the 4020ST18 8,500×4,600×2,200 mm and the 6025ST26 8,700×5,300×2,250 mm. The maximum table load is 0.9 t, 1.6 t and 1.8 t respectively. Being compact, the machine fits even into workshops with limited space.
How does the ST Series differ from the DT Series?
Both series cut sheet and tube on the same machine. The ST Series is the compact option, for fabricators with limited space: sheet up to 6,000×2,500 mm and tube up to Ø250 mm. The DT Series is the large option: sheet up to 12,000×2,500 mm, tube up to Ø280 mm, a table change in 15 seconds, a table load of up to 16 t and a full protective enclosure.
What materials can the ST Series cut?
The ST Series cuts mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass and copper, as both sheet and metal tube. Sheet formats are 3,000×1,500, 4,000×2,000 or 6,000×2,500 mm, depending on the model, and tube diameters range from Ø8 to Ø250 mm. Both are processed on the same machine, with a single set of controls.
