What we supply

We deliver them as a spare part, to replace a worn or damaged head on your machine, or to equip a new machine.
What the cutting head does
The head automatically adjusts its focal position relative to the material and monitors its own condition through internal sensors:
- it detects piercing and starts cutting immediately;
- it repeats the pass by itself if the material has not been pierced through;
- it signals clogging or a drop in gas pressure.
When to replace or repair it
The protective lenses and the nozzle are wear parts. The condition of the lenses is monitored by the head's sensors, which warn you early when they are wearing out.
We keep lenses, nozzles and ceramic rings in stock for BOCI heads, so that wear parts do not stop production.

What must be checked before fitting a BOCI cutting head to my machine?
Three things are checked on a BOCI cutting head. The fibre connector is chosen according to the power of the laser source and must match the connector on the source. The power of the source must not exceed the maximum rated power of the head. The focal length depends on the sheet thicknesses you cut. We confirm all three before sending you a quotation.
Can a BOCI cutting head be repaired, or only replaced?
It can be repaired. In an accidental collision, the part that makes contact breaks away and can be replaced quickly, even by your own staff, without sending the head back to the manufacturer. Other repairs and the replacement of wear parts are carried out by our own technicians in Romania.

A BOCI cutting head is fitted and commissioned by our own technicians in Romania, and we confirm the fit with your machine before delivery. Having us fit it matters most when you replace the laser source along with the head: we then check the whole combination before start-up.
